Last year over 42 million units were packaged and assembled by Goodwill Manufacturing for our business partners. There are many reasons companies choose to outsource work to Goodwill. Whether we’re handling engine parts or hand soap, it’s important to have a firm grasp of the underlying issues we can help tackle. It could be improved operational efficiency, talent shortage, faster turnaround time, space constraints or equipment capabilities. Goodwill Manufacturing provides contract packaging & assembly services to a wide variety of customers throughout southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. We use our operations to fulfill our mission of providing training, support and employment services for people with barriers to employment. One of our current customers recently approached us with a supply chain and production opportunity.

The Pulitzer Prize winning photo of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima remains a national icon. Our treasured Star Spangled banner is proudly planted at the North Pole, and on the Moon. This past Monday, Old Glory flew at half staff from sunrise until noon in honor of Memorial Day.

Goodwill: Where the Learning Never Stops

School is back in session and students have returned to the classroom. They are learning critical lessons to become independent thinkers and problem solvers. They are acquiring the skills needed to contribute to society. I am grateful for the wonderful teachers and mentors I’ve been lucky enough to have…both in and out of the classroom. Recently I saw a t-shirt that read “I teach. What’s your superpower?” Teachers truly are super heroes as they help make the world a better place for all of us.

Although formal classroom days are behind me, I continue to be surrounded by great ‘teachers' and 'mentors’ at Goodwill.
