Goodwill has developed employment options and a support network of professional staff to create customized, effective solutions for local companies. When employers hire a Goodwill candidate, they realize multiple positive outcomes. 

Employment Services encompasses community employment and job placement in seven counties in the Greater Milwaukee area.Employment Services encompasses community employment and job placement in seven counties in the Greater Milwaukee area.

  • Goodwill is a cost-effective resource for well-screened, qualified candidates because employers are not charged a fee for its services.
  • Employers who hire Goodwill candidates are eligible for tax credits.
  • Companies save time and money because Goodwill carefully screens, and oftentimes, trains potential candidates before they are hired. Job coaches are also available to assist new employees and employers.
  • Employers are improving the communities where we all live by hiring people with barriers to employment. The wages earned by these new employees are reinvested in the community, contributing to the overall strength of the economy. 

Eligibility:

  • 16 years of age or older
  • Documented disability or barrier to employment
  • Funding approval for programming

Funding Sources:

State of Wisconsin-Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Milwaukee County Wiser Choice, Veterans Administration, Private Pay
