Goodwill’s Supported Employment Services are all about assisting you in getting a job that is personalized to your interests, strengths and needs. Supported Employment Services provide long-term job coaching support and can assist whenever you have new tasks to learn. Working closely with our dedicated team, you'll develop natural supports in the community and receive assistance if needed to address other issues that could affect your work or personal life.

Services Provided:

Our services are organized to assist individuals in choosing, obtaining and retaining employment matched to their vocational interests and abilities.

Individualized Services:

• Discovery and career profile
• Paid temporary work internships
• Preparation for job search
• Resume building, interview skills and travel training
• Job development – connecting to community employers
• Job customization – finding a job to your skills set
• Job coaching support for long term success

Eligibility: 

Individuals receiving services must be willing to cooperate to meet the minimum established guidelines, and there must be a reasonable expectation that the person will benefit from Goodwill services:

• 16 years of age or older
• A documented disability or barrier to employment
• Pertinent background or referral information
• Ability to self-medicate
• Manage self-care (having aid if needed)
• Funding approval for services
• Not a harm to self or others

Funding Sources:

State of Wisconsin-Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Family Care, IRIS, High Schools or Private Pay

Hours of Service:

Supported Employment Services is operational between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Staff hours may vary depending on supports needed during a work experience or job placement.  Closed on Sundays.  Supported Employment Services are closed and do not provide any development or coaching on the following holidays:

New Year’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day,
