Goodwill has long stood as a beacon of hope in our communities, transforming lives through The Power of Work. When you provide in-kind donations, you play a vital role in our mission: Connecting people to work. Preparing people for life.
We make it easy for businesses to donate items to Goodwill. Whether it's to declutter a closing store or office, empower your staff to give, boost employee morale, or enjoy tax benefits, it’s easy to make a positive impact in your community.
We offer pickup services for donated goods every weekday, excluding holidays. Pickups are typically scheduled one week prior, but 48 hours notice is all we need. Please note that due to logistic constraints, we're unable to pick up in residential areas, including home-based businesses.
We welcome a variety of items from our corporate in-kind donation partners, including:
Unfortunately, we do not accept office furniture or items with a shelf life or expiration date.
Once we collect your donated items, you'll receive a donation receipt and an acknowledgment of delivery. Plus, we offer assistance and follow-up for IRS Form 8283 to ensure your tax benefits are realized without a hitch.
Our current corporate in-kind donation partners include Hospitology in Chicago, Dollar General, Aurora Healthcare, The Container Store and several storage companies. By joining these visionary organizations, you'll drive positive change in your community and reinforce your commitment to sustainability.
Want to get your employees actively involved in corporate in-kind giving? We'd be delighted to help you set up and host a donation event at your company. It's a fantastic way to boost team spirit while helping your community.
Join us in making a powerful impact on our community. Take advantage of this opportunity to unify your team around a purposeful cause, strengthen your corporate image, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
