You can be part of the transforming power of work! Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities or disadvantages access training, employment and supportive services needed to build independence and be successful in today's workplace. Your investment in Goodwill builds a stronger southeastern Wisconsin for everyone..
Since 1919, Goodwill has believed in the transforming power of work for all individuals. Over the past 100 years, our services have changed to respond to the needs of the times. We began by helping people with disabilities or disadvantages repair donated items. We helped connect our neighbors with basic services during the Great Depression and were proud to provide training and jobs for wounded soldiers coming back from World War II. We trained people on computers when technology became part of the American workforce, and during recessions we have been instrumental in connecting people to jobs. Although our services, have changed, our belief in a chance, not charity has remained the same.
Today, Goodwill is a premier provider of social services, community programs, vocational training, transitional employment and other services to enhance employment opportunities for individuals with disadvantages or disabilities. Our ability to evaluate, train, coach and support individuals with multiple barriers—providing them with real world, hands-on work experience they can build on, differentiates Goodwill from other workforce development providers.
When you invest in Goodwill you can be sure that your financial contribution is put to good use, helping fund our training, employment and supportive services for individuals with disabilities or disadvantages.
Goodwill Industries Volunteer Services (GIVS) is a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and skills in support of Goodwill’s mission.
Support Goodwill through donations of household items and clothing. Donations from the community are the lifeblood of Goodwill Store & Donation Centers and the sale of those donated items funds our mission.
Goodwill prides itself on being a good steward of resources given to us by our donors. Financial contributions play a vital role in our ability to carry out our mission and provide access to programs and services that prepare individuals for today's workforce.
