EMPOWERING YOU TO FIND A JOB

Goodwill offers job training, skill building and support to help teens and young adults ages 16 to 24 in the Chicago area prepare for and find their next job. Start your journey by filling out the interest form.

Why Join Our Job Training and Placement Program? 

Joining one of our training and placement programs is the first step toward investing in yourself. You'll benefit from: 

  • A personal case manager to help you search for jobs
  • Job readiness training to build skills for the workplace 
  • Coaching to help you ace the interview
  • Personal and professional supportive services to help you in your new job  
  • Access to local resources in the community to help you navigate challenges 

Qualifying program participants will be connected to opportunities to apply to permanent part- and full-time positions in growing industries including:  

  • Retail, including with Goodwill Store & Donation Centers
  • Green Energy
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • And more!
