Team Members

What will I be doing on the job?

Team Members are responsible for a variety of roles at our Goodwill Store & Donation Centers. They perform the following job responsibilities:

  • Donation Attendants carefully handle donations from people in the community. In this role, you'll greet and thank customers for their donations and help sort them for Production Associates. If you love working in a fast-paced environment, you'll love working in this role! Some heavy lifting may be required.
  • Production Associates price the donations that are sold on the sales floor. In this position, you are challenged to achieve pricing goals and strategically price donations according to our pricing guidelines and to maximize the amount of money that goes to our mission. In our production area you never know what amazing donations you may be working with.
  • Sales Floor Associates organize the sales floor, display merchandise, and make it easy for shoppers to find what they’re looking for. In this position, you also serve as ambassadors for Goodwill and build relationships with customers by answering their questions and help them find on their thrifting treasure hunt.
  • Cashiers build relationships with customers by accurately ringing up sales transactions, carefully bagging their purchases, enrolling customers in our reward program, and help raise money for the Goodwill Mission through the Round Up program.

Ecommerce Specialist

What will I be doing on the job?

As an Ecommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing items that are sold on Goodwill's online shopping platforms at our Racine, Wisconsin location.

This includes:

  • Photographing the item
  • Researching item to be listed for sale
  • Writing and product description
  • Shipping item to customer
  • Taking inventory of items that are received and sold
