Today, Steven Prokop joins Goodwill as Director of Procurement. In this role, Steve oversees the development and implementation of a centralized and diverse procurement strategy. He will have a significant role in establishing and delivering on strategic enterprise goals -- ensuring consistent and timely supply of goods and services to support our diverse operations. He and his team will work with stakeholders throughout Goodwill to analyze needs, identify and negotiate contracts with vendor partners, maximize performance, and promote best practices across the organization. Steve reports to Lisa Heider, vice president finance.

With 20 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, inventory and team leadership, Steve has honed his skills in cost reduction negotiation, contract management, procurement strategy, risk management, procedure development and change management. He is certified in Supply Management® (CPSM®) through the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®) and has trained in Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean practices.
