What is your approach or role?
I’m a solution-focused person that enjoys meeting new people and supporting them at whatever level they are at.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
Every day is different, every consumer unique, and getting people jobs!

What is your approach or role?
I actively listen to get to know the person and then use their strengths to motivate them and encourage success.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
It is really rewarding to witness people overcome their fears and barriers to live more fulfilling lives.

Professional accomplishments: I was nominated and chosen as one of the IPS People of the Year in 2020. I recently completed my Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.

Interests and Hobbies?
I enjoy exercising, baking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

What is your approach or role?
My role is to offer support to individuals with mental health concerns to find and stay in employment or to pursue education that leads to employment. Sometimes, that support might be in both areas at the same time. Partnering with the persons on my caseload to accomplish their goals is how I approach my role as an Employment Specialist in IPS.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
My favorite thing is helping others obtain their goals.

Professional accomplishments: I have been with Goodwill since 2018. First as a Job Coach and in my current role as an Employment Specialist in October of 2020.

What is your approach or role?
My approach to Individual Placement and Support is client empowerment. I seek to help individuals use IPS to learn how to become more independent in their employment.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
My favorite thing about IPS is seeing people overcome barriers to their employment and employment retention.

Professional accomplishments: I have helped over 50 people master their work tasks, navigate their employment process, and retain employment in three years

Interests and Hobbies? I enjoy reading and playing tennis

What is your approach or role?
My approach with IPS for members is to notice what is needed for recovery as a whole person so that the member can succeed in employment long term and assist with determining if the member needs to be involved with other mental and physical health providers. I am direct and give assignments to members, so they feel involved with their career exploration and promoting independence.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
When members can find the perfect fit in employment after building confidence, professional communication and other skills with an Employment Specialist are my favorite things about IPS.

Professional accomplishments: Milwaukee Comprehensive Care Collaborative (MC3) Change Agent and Evaluation Committee.

Interests and Hobbies?
Fashion, Women's and girls' self- defense and empowerment, fencing, and gardening.

What is your approach or role?  
My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I actively listen to my clients to help them see the strengths, skills, and abilities they already have while helping develop new ones.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?  
I enjoy celebrating successes and moments of growth with clients. I enjoy collaborating with treatment team members as this helps me understand clients holistically.

Professional accomplishments:  I have been with Goodwill since October 2018 and completed Professional Development in August 2019. In September 2021, I will begin the Master’s in Social Work program at UWM.

Interests and Hobbies: I am a member of the Milwaukee Chamber Choir and volunteer with Best Buddies Wisconsin. Other activities include exercise, mindfulness, hiking, cycling, camping, painting, reading, and playing the ukulele.

What is your approach or role?
I like to let the consumer dictate the pace and really allow themselves to become independent in their job search. Building a good rapport with my consumers has also contributed to mine and the success of the IPS program.

What is your favorite thing about IPS?
I enjoy how my consumers feel when they’ve been in a job for a few months and begin reflecting back on where they started. You really see how much they’ve grown and the different skills they have learned while being in the program.

Interests and Hobbies? 
I like going on hikes and doing photography. I also practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in my free time to stay active.
