Goodwill Vintage Fashion Shows

Vintage Fashion Shows

Goodwill volunteers present an average of 35 vintage shows per year across southeastern Wisconsin. The shows provide entertainment and raise awareness of Goodwill's programs and services. Each of our shows are created and presented for your enjoyment by Goodwill’s Volunteer Services. The proceeds are used to support Goodwill’s mission of providing work opportunities and skill development for people with barriers to employment. There are many ways to volunteer:

  • Models
  • Seamstresses
  • Dressers
  • Historians
  • Writers
  • Show crew
  • Hair stylists
  • Make-up Artists

Vintage Fashion Donations

As part of its community outreach, Goodwill Industries has been presenting vintage fashion shows to groups and organizations since 1974. Many of the ensembles featured are from its vintage fashion collection, reflecting garments worn by women from 1850 through the 1990s—many of which are family heirlooms. If you have a special garment or accessory that you would like to donate to Goodwill's vintage fashion collection or to book a show, please contact Monica Schick,  Vintage Fashion Show Specialist at (262) 832-3229 or email Monica at Monica.Schick@goodwillsew.com.

'70s Double Take looks back at the era that brought us shearling and thigh-high boots and continues to influence today's tastemakers.
