100 Acts of Goodwill: Goodwill Leadership Volunteers at Founding Church

Act of Goodwill provides training opportunity for local college

Members of our Goodwill Store & Donation Center management volunteered to assist students at the College of DuPage as they conducted mock job interviews for members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. 

The mock interviews offered a perfect opportunity for the students to practice their interpreting skills and it also gave members of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing community the ability to practice for their own job interviews.

Goodwill Community Day Highlights Local Impact

Our second annual Goodwill Community Day was held on September 12, giving community leaders a chance to learn about how we impact lives at the local level. This year, Community Day was organized by Goodwill Community Relations Councils, which are employee teams organized by geography or expertise to help manage and maintain impactful community partnerships. Community Day events were hosted across 18 counties in southeast Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
