Recently the Goodwill Supported Employment Team reached a significant milestone. They have helped more than 100 individuals with special needs find a meaningful job, in the community, that matched their skills and interests. Anthony is one of the growing number of individuals building a better life through the program.  About two years ago, Anthony joined the Goodwill Work Services Program where he earned a paycheck while he received on-the-job training in packaging and assembly, quality assurance and material handling.

Anthony also benefited from classroom instruction to strengthen work-related and social skills targeted at helping him succeed in the community. His Goodwill experience prepared him well for the job he enjoys today at Troubadour Bakery/Colectivo Coffee in Bay View, Wisconsin. Anthony takes great pride in his work and he’s a valued member on the team.
