Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin and Metropolitan Chicago, a diverse non-profit community organization which provides training, employment and supportive services for people with disabilities or disadvantages who seek greater independence, announced that its retail business is offering online shopping options.
Just ahead of the start of the holiday shopping season, Goodwill Store & Donation Centers are selling 
select merchandise online to expand their reach and provide a safe, convenient shopping experience. Customers can browse thousands of items safely from home, anytime they like. Revenue from the online purchases stays in the community, fueling the organization’s mission work to provide job training and employment services for people with disabilities or disadvantages.
“We’re excited to provide an online shopping experience for our valued Goodwill customers,” said Julie Deming, director of merchandising and customer experience. “When you shop at Goodwill, you’re purchasing quality merchandise at great prices as well as helping the environment and people right in your community. That brings a whole new meaning to shopping with a mission.”
Goodwill sells select products on three online platforms:
- Our Amazon store is dedicated to book readers of all ages.
- Our eBay store includes electronics, apparel, DVDs, CDs and books for all interests and ages.
- ShopGoodwill.com is the online space for a treasure trove of collectibles, jewelry, musical instruments, LEGOs, antiques and other one-of-a-kind items.
Like Goodwill Store & Donation Centers, customers are encouraged to shop online often as new items are added daily.
