The Pulitzer Prize winning photo of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima remains a national icon. Our treasured Star Spangled banner is proudly planted at the North Pole, and on the Moon. This past Monday, Old Glory flew at half staff from sunrise until noon in honor of Memorial Day.
Soon it will be Flag Day… Independence Day… then Labor Day… the Red, White, and Blue will be waving across the U.S.A. from shore to shore. Goodwill is honored to play a role in sending the Stars and Stripes out to it’s important destination. We fold and package American flags for one of our Power Partners, Olympus Group. This time of year, flags blanketing tables are handled with care. It’s quite a sight to see. It means a great deal to the team to be part of something with such significance.
