A Special Message from Donald Driver: Why National Disability Employment Awareness Month is Important to Me

Posted by Goodwill Staff on October 15, 2020

Green Bay Packers Legend and Goodwill spokesperson, Donald Driver, recorded a heartfelt message on his Facebook page Wednesday evening showing his support for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin & Metro Chicago.

The month of October and observance of National Disability Employment Awareness Month is very important to Goodwill. During this time, we want to raise awareness of the many benefits of hiring people with disabilities as well as celebrate those who work with these individuals to help them lead successful, independent lives.

We’re thankful to Donald Driver for sharing why this month is important to him and what it means for people with disabilities.
