Annual Event Advances Goodwill's Mission

Retro2The annual “Retro Rendezvous” is Goodwill’s biggest event of the year. Our theme this year is Instant Replay and there’s a full lineup of  entertainers—memorable moments of songs and entertainment-- for what promises to be an outstanding evening.  In addition, this year we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the first Super Bowl, the Ice Bowl, and the Lambeau Legends that made it possible.  The superstars of today are the Retro Rendezvous guests and sponsors whose support advances Goodwill’s mission.

The money raised at Retro Rendezvous is used to purchase much needed items and fund important activities for Goodwill’s program participants. In years past, four vans were purchased for Day and Work Services where program participants were safely transported to and from community outings. We were also able to offer support for participant holiday celebrations. In 2013 a large portion of funds went toward Workforce Development programs from training in Goodwill’s Retail, Manufacturing, Custodial and Culinary Institutes to the support of Goodwill Workforce Connection Centers, significantly enhancing the free support services offered to individuals looking for work. We are very grateful to our sponsors, auction donors, volunteers and Retro Rendezvous attendees for making this possible!
