Work Adjustment Training Methods

work adjustment training methodsWork Adjustment Training helps develop methods for increasing employment skills and finding ways to overcome vocational barriers in a real work setting.

If individuals have little or no work history, this program may be what they need. We'll help participants understand the meaning, value and demands of work. Not only does Work Adjustment Training teach valuable real life skills, the program also achieves the following:

  • Teaches individuals about work tolerance and stamina
  • Provides individuals a recent, positive work record
  • Identifies need for further training and support to achieve and maintain competitive employment
  • Builds self-confidence
  • Offers career exploration opportunities
Goodwill's Work Adjustment Training is available in all of our training areas including Food Service, Assembly and Environmental Services.
