Workforce Connection Centers
Do you need a job?
Do you need resume and cover letter help?
How about computer, telephone and fax access to assist you in your search?
Then you need the Goodwill Workforce Connection Center!
The Workforce Connection Center is a natural extension of Goodwill's mission to provide training, employment and supportive services for people with disadvantages or other employment barriers.
These centers are designed to assist people in our community with self directed job search and employment related activities. Goodwill has gathered the necessary resources in one place - from resume writing to onsite interviewing and access to technology. Information about additional community supports such as transportation, child care, life skills training and literacy resources, will also be available.
There is no income or qualifying criteria, so anyone can use Workforce Connection Center services free of charge. Computers, printers, internet access, telephones and fax machines will be available and full time Goodwill staff will be on hand to provide assistance and guidance throughout the skills assessment and job search process.
Goodwill's Workforce Connection Center will also offer targeted services to employers, including weekly on-site recruitments for open positions.
The Waukesha Center is located at our Waukesha Community Service Center, 1400 Nike Drive. The Milwaukee Center is located at 3903 N. Richards Street Capitol Drive. Both centers are open from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. For more information, call the Waukesha Center at (262) 970-6016 or the Richards Street Center at (414) 962-4148.
We know that training and work empowers people, strengthens families and builds communities. We are confident this resource will assist a broad cross section of people in Waukesha with all facets of the employment process.
