Nick's Success Story

Busy means fun to him

It’s easy to see why Nick L. enjoys his job as a Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Worker at the Wisconsin Athletic Club(WAC) in Menomonee Falls.

“I love the people, both the staff and the guests. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It’s a fun place to work.”
Nick began his temporary work experience, which was supported by Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), at the WAC in February 2015 and was hired in March. He said he “looks forward to work days” which are three morning shifts per week.

“I’m busy, so the time goes by fast,” Nick explains. “I feel that I’ve learned a lot (during my time working).”
If there’s one thing that Nick knows, it’s staying busy. He likes music (especially playing the drums), video games, everything Disney, spending time with family, his best friend Andy, and his dog and fish.
