King's Success Story

Lunch with King

King successfully completed his first rotation in December as a Project SEARCH intern at the Milwaukee County Zoo. He worked in the Education department. He did most of the prep work for the classes that included die casting, animal shapes, taking inventory of classroom supplies, tracing animals, and cutting and gluing.

The department is a very close community and King fit in well with everyone. Every day he would go around to the loop of offices and say “good morning” to each person. His manager Rachel even said that it had been common for people in the department to go out for lunch, but since King was there most people would stay and eat lunch in the break room because they enjoyed spending time with King!

The department is very close and King fit in really well.
